Strategy game in active development by Sinware
A world-scale 4X/RTS where every road, resource, district, and army matters.
In active development
A strategy game about empire growth, hands-on city building, and wars large enough to see unfold.
Sovereign Empires is about seeing the grand strategy layer and the city-building layer connect without hiding the machinery behind menus.
Found your first cities where the terrain, water, and finite resource nodes make sense.
Claim tiles, open district interiors, and decide what each district build grid should produce.
Turn the economy into infantry, armor, aircraft, and naval forces with distinct terrain limits.
Push into rival territory while AI empires expand, react, and fight over the same map.
A huge world map. Found cities, claim territory, raise armies, and fight rival empires in a growing free-for-all.
Drop into any claimed tile and lay out a detailed grid of buildings and roads. Macro decides where; micro decides what each district produces.
A stock-and-flow economy where raw resources live on the map and deplete as you harvest them. Specialize or run dry.
Infantry, tanks, armored vehicles, helicopters, jets, ships, and submarines fight across land, air, and sea at unusual scale.
AI opponents expand, build, and wage war across the same world you do. No scripted lanes, just rival empires pushing for control.
Thousands of units can move, fight, and clash across the world at once, turning wars into visible campaigns instead of abstract numbers.
The Ambition
Most strategy games hide the world behind provinces, tooltips, and menus. Sovereign Empires puts it all on one map: the continent you fight over and the city you lay out tile by tile are the same place, at a scale where a war is something you watch sweep across the world instead of a number in a log.
Visual reveal later
We are holding the reveal until the terrain, interface, units, and effects do the game justice.
The game itself is the pitch: a huge living world, tile-level city districts, finite resources, AI empires, and combined-arms warfare at scale.
Read about the worldThese are the pillars already driving the build.

Unit scale
ThousandsThousands of units on screen at once: armies, air power, naval forces, and projectiles, with warfare you can read on the map.
Public reveal
GrowingThe reveal rolls out deliberately, layer by layer, as the art and interface land.
Sovereign Empires is being built in the open as a solo project under Sinware. Follow the devlog as the game grows toward a playable public release.
